Covid -19 Update
Keeping your children safe
Though classes may be different this term I want to keep your mind at ease regarding our safe return to yoga.
I can promise I will do my absolute best to give the children who join my class a wonderful session where they will learn how to relax, breath, and most importantly HAVE FUN.
These past few months have been difficult for all of us as you know. That is why it is so important now more than ever to get our children back into some kind of normality. I truly believe that yoga will benefit their little minds and help support them into this new life style we are all embarking on.
To do this, the following will go ahead:
~ Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class and wait to be invited in to the hall. Please also maintain your 2 meters with other parents.
~ Unfortunately I will no longer be able to provide mats, these will need to be brought along with you to each class. If you need advice on where to purchase a mat please do not hesitate to get in touch.
~ Children will be asked to sanitise their hands before entering and again after using the toilet facilities, and exiting the building. Sanitiser will be provided.
~ On arrival to the studio all parents will be asked to wear masks whilst the children check in and settle down, as well as when you are collecting your child at the end of the session.
~ Any props that I provide during my classes will be disinfected and washed before and after each class.
~ The hall where class is being held will be cleaned before and after every class to ensure the safety of your children.
~ To adhere to social distancing spaces will be limited.
~ As always, shoes must be taken off before class and left in the waiting area.
~ As difficult as it may be, we must speak to the children before class and try to let them understand that class wont be the same as it was. Please encourage children not to run up and give me cuddles, but perhaps we can find a new way to greet each other in the form of air hugs or air high fives.
~ Please also ask children to do their best at staying in their designated area, which will be their own mat.
~ Please do not attend class if you, your child or a family member have any covid symptoms.
~ If you do develop symptoms please let me know for track and trace.
If you have any concerns, I will be more than happy to update these guidelines for you. I can't wait to see you all back in the studio for a safe return to yoga.
